Philanthropy

Minerals for Peace and Future has no intention of denying its own responsibility for business in crisis and war zones and is working hard in cooperation with local and international partners to ensure that a significant share of the jointly generated profits flows into a public foundation or fund, which in turn has the sole task to renovate critical infrastructure, i.e. schools, sewage systems, sewage treatment plants, power grids, sports facilities, fiber optic cables, power plants, etc., in the regions of the mines, or builds them up in the first place, on the basis of public tendering of the contracts.

In addition, we want to start a safer use program. For example, we want to buy fresh syringes from local partners such as Myanmar Myo Ko Ko Medical Instrument Co.,Ltd. in order to distribute them free of charge to addicted residents.
Furthermore, we want to organize regular food deliveries for impoverished local families and those potentially affected by the threat of food insecurity.
